Advantages: It's funny, fast and Blinks best ever album
Disadvantages: There aren't any

...This is Blink 182's last independant label release and easily their best album. Every song on this album is a model of how pop punk should be. My personal favourites are 'Pathetic' and 'Dick lips'. 'Pathetic' is the first song on the album and is a perfect example of the super fast, super melodic songs that Blink are famed for, which appear in force on this release and will get you amped for extreme sports or a night out. 'Dick lips' is a slower song and is one of the more emotional on Dude ranch. The selection of songs is perfectly balanced with alot of very funny songs about, among other things, relationships with animals, aswell as some more serious ones. The speed of the tunes ranges from moderately slow to super sonic light speed (I think thats around about 100 billion miles a second- The drummer must get really tired... Read review

Advantages: The cover and the music definitly played a part in my opinion of this album
Disadvantages: The size of the inside sleeve.

...This album is one of the best new albums that has been released in the past couple of months. Papa Roach's style of music has been paralleled by many to that of Limp Bizkit. However, Infest prvoes this not to be the case. Coby Dick's vocal talents are expressed in many different ways in this album. From the sensitive, soft tone he uses in broken home to the loud and boistrous tone used in blood brothers. The musical talent of the band also varies as much. The variation within the first 6 tracks of the album is amazing and shows that the band have the musical talent to compete with their counterparts Limp Bizkit. If this new rock music is the thing for you then i would suggest this album. The mix of soft and hard rock songs makes for a flowing listen. ...Many people might want to hear about this album having heard Enema of the State and loving it so much you want more. If that is the case then you wont be disappointed. Dude Ranch doesn't have the same distinctive songs that make Enema so brilliant but it is still a marvellous album. There are still some timeless anthems such as 'Untitled' and 'Dick Lips' and the downright brilliance of 'Dammit', in my view the best song Blink have ever done. If you loved Enema or you've never heard it buy this album, it's just as good and no-one could be disappointed by it.... Read review
