I've had this album for ages and its brilliant! I listen to it all the time and haven't got fed up with it yet. The album / songs are completely different from Christina's first album which include songs such as Genie in a bottle. Christina seems far more grown up in this album and her music is less "girl" like. Stripped is the second album released by Christina in 2002. The album reached the top five in America as well as in the UK. The album starts with an introduction from Christina saying she would like to introduce herself. The introduction is followed by nineteen more songs. These songs include Can't hold us down, Walk away, Fighter, Primer Amor Interlude, Infatuation, Loves embrace interlude, Loving me for me, Impossible, Underappreciated, Beautiful, Make over, Cruz, Soar, Get mine, get yours, Dirrty, Stripped, The voice within, Im okay and Keep on singing my song. Both Dirrty and Beautiful were number one in the UK. Christina tries to get the message to fans that you should be your own person and be independent. In her song I'm Ok, she sings about her emotional childhood. The album has some sad songs but then some rauncy… fast songs that you can have a good dance too! I love the album and it is a great one to listen to before a girly night out or one the dance floor. The album is available in megastores such as Virgin and HMV and the cost varies. If you like this album, you may like her other albums too. However, Back to Basics (later album) is a lot different from Stripped.
