This is the stones’ effort at producing an unplugged album and this has been done effortlessly and with a lot of style. This is a fantastic album and shows how good they are as musicians and where there roots lie. There is a great cover of dylan’s song ‘like a rolling stone’ and the old favourites make their appearances without making the album into a greatest hits. The more random numbers (the spider and the fly, and , love in vain) are simply beautiful and poetic. This is probably my most favourite stones album – well at least for chilling out to anyway.
