you are a garage lover looking for new material, look elsewhere. If you detest basslines, you can forget about buying this cd now. On the way is hard and heavy basslines, rough and ready MCing and some sweet and smooth female vocals.

The mixing is spot-on byDJ EZ and most of the time there’s a good track on the way in. If you don’t like it, there’s relief to be had via the skip button. When people hear the name UKGarage nowdays they instantly think of the MC-led style of music which seemed to attract so much negative attention. I would emplore them to listen to this cd with an open mind as I think they would be far from disappointed. DJ EZ is one of the best DJ's out there and this shows off his skills very well.

This mix is quite a hefty run through of all the big tracks of 2007 in the world of Dub-step (which is a relatively new but ever-increasingly popular music genre). The sound is from London and the UK (which is where most of the producers on the mix come from. The tracks are based upon what DJ Skream likes personally and what he plays at DJ sets (or was in the 2007-2008 period).
Kulture kicks off the mix with a reggae infuse synth bassline rizing track which gets the energy levels pumping straight from the outset (interesting way to start a mix!) Next is a track from Skream himself which was popular one on pirate radio and in D clubs 'wobble that gut' with minimal progressive beats and bass-lines.
