Suffolk Explosion, The - Various Artists

Disadvantages: You're going to want to buy a lot of albums after hearing it.

This is one of my favourite compilation albums of the year. It's made up of a group of bands that all have at least one member hailing from Suffolk. It includes tracks from the likes off Fightstar, Brigade, Prego and Aerogramme. Most are little known bands on the verge of being huge. ...the well known boy band Busted. Their contribution, "Cross out the stars" is an excellent song that really demonstrates the bands talent for music. Charlie Simpson also appears near the end of the album performing a song called "Carry Her" which is an almost acoustic, emotionally charged dedication to his grandmother.
