Bring Me The Horizon- Suicide Season Bring Me The Horizon formed in 2004, The frontman Oliver Sykes owns his own clothing line called 'DROP DEAD' I love the clothes you get from there but they are really expensive! This is Bring Me The Horizon's 2nd Studio album, their first one was Count Your Blessings. The band come under metalcore. I understand that not many of the older people will listen to Bring Me The Horizon because they are too 'Screamo' but there are alot of young people out there that might, though there is explicit language I know that when I say young i mean from ages 14-18. Its ... more

Advantages Advantages Very Up-Beat, Still Quite Heavy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not As Heavy As Their Previous Album

Note before reading: This is based entirely on my opinion and my taste in music, you do not have to agree with me on this but all I ask is that you do not submit abusive comments. The Sheffield lads of Bring Me The Horizon are back with their 2008 album, Suicide Season. Their pervious album 'Count Your Blessings' set the benchmark for any other Bring Me The Horizon album to be released after. The previous album was a truly heavy album which is what would you would have expected from this album. Right?? Wrong. This album is alot less heavy compared to their previous album, their lack of actual ... more

Advantages Advantages Production, Vocals, General heavy sound, clarity, maturity, certain riffs

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little Weak, Boring, Droll, Repetative

Well, it took a while but I've finally managed to get my head around this CD. A different approach, a different sound, a new degree of maturity. It's pretty obvious from the outset that the band (or someone close to them) sat down and said "we've got the ear of thousands of people, now it's time to give them something a little different" - a lot of bands try new things after a few releases, especially when popularity grows in their camp. I don't blame BMTH for doing this, because at one time they were a fashion, a fad, a joke among most metal fans. Instead, of fading into the background ... more

Advantages Advantages More feeling and more brutal

Disadvantages Disadvantages Lyrcis sound more rock than metal

The second albulm made by bring me the horizon the same number of tracks to the first albulm however the songs have much more meaning to compared to the albulm count your blessings and the new albulm isnt just screaming and growling there are actual lyrics that people are able to understand. However the albulm does sound more screamo than deathcore but the albulm is worth listening to and listening to it more and more the albulm sounds better and better. The art work of the albulm is simple but at the same time shows BMTH's attitude to being a brutal band. The well known songs from this albulm ... more

Advantages Advantages great album that packs a punch.

Disadvantages Disadvantages from what ive heard of it there is none.

well well well, if this album is a great as the first one you cant really go far wrong, if you like punishing your ear drums, dancing like a mad man then this is for you! this album has a range of vocals, especially Chelsea smile (amazing) because it isn't all RAWR!! plus they cant be that bad seeing as they are 2006 kerrang awards best uk newcomer :) i say them live when they were starting out and they were pretty wild then and they have only been getting better. the album Suicide Season isnt release till about 29/09/08, so hang fire, and make sure you go out and buy it, because any CD ... more
