Advantages: Gives lovely feeling skin after usage Disadvantages: Melts very quickly and you get left with squishy sultanas!
Just recently me and my best mate, Pink went on a shopping trip together and of course one of the shops we both adore is Lush (I introduced her and her credit card and both curse me every week!) We spent hours in there perusing and discussing items and she purchased this, 'Sultana Of Soap' and gave me half to try to see if I like it which was very nice of her indeed! I'd never be as generous as that with anything I bought from Lush, even to my best friend!!
The Soap Itself....
So the appearance of the soap is white with bits in it basically. It's not rough even though it contains bits of fruits, it's very smooth in appearance. Upon opening it up and looking I don't have bits of fruit in it as expected but more seeds than anything else. Its a creamy colour and looks like a bar of nougat. Smooth, creamy in colour and the texture I ...
Advantages: Healthy AND Tasty Disadvantages: Too many damn sultanas
Background:
Not a bad title hey? Anyway, when I first saw this product on Ciao, I didn't realise it was the Kellogg's variety. For the past couple of years, I have been enjoying the delights of 'Safeway' Sultana Bran. I am pleased to report however, that about a week ago, my mum bought the originsl 'Kellogg's' all bran sultana bran, so I can now do an accurate review. Luckily for me, Sultana Bran falls into the normal category, so I try and have it every day! The cereal is composed of juicy sultanas, and small crunchy wheat and bran flakes, as the name suggest. Once the cereal has been soaked in ...
Advantages: low in fat, natural sugar only Disadvantages: appearance and texture
I decided to give these a go after reading a review on Ciao. Being on a permanent diet, I am always looking for new healthy snack products that won't pile on the pounds.
RYVITA GOODNESS BAR
++++++++++++++++++++
Ryvita claim that there bar is good for you because they have not added any sugar, the bar contains only natural sugar.
The flavour that I am reviewing is Apple & Sultana. They come in a cardboard box of 6 individually wrapped bars, each weighing 23g. The box is predominantly green and white. I will not say any more about the packaging as I have been told previously that it is not necessary.
I bought mine from Tesco and they cost me £1.79 for 6 which is quite expensive I thought, seing as Tesco sell 6 bars for 99p. The cost equates to 30p per bar.
The appearance of the bar is not so nice. When you open ...
