Advantages: Good quality components, well built.
Disadvantages: Rather heavy, front suspension.

Not a bad bike at all, but it's failing is that it can't make up it's mind if it's one thing or the other. It's set up to be a light use MTB / rough towpath bike with semi-knobbly tyres, front suspension and a bouncy seatpost. As a MTB, it's too frail, as a city commuter it's too heavy and bouncy. It's ideal use would be taking the kids for Sunday rides around forestry trails. Using mine for a 10 mile hilly commute, mainly on cycle paths, I felt mine was let down by the front suspension and the poor Tioga tyres. I changed the tyres to semi-slicks which helped, and swapped the seat post to a solid one to which let me put the power down better. The front suspension still made the bike far heavier than it needed to be (36 lb including a rack) and the suspension saps your effort when pedalling hard. Along the flat this wan't too ...

Advantages: good
Disadvantages: not so good

Woosh woosh swit swoo. This album is in parts quite good. What a fantastic feeling listening to some songs! Even though the lyrics can sometimes make no sense, these melodies are so upbeat and lifting. never a dull moment and almost guaranteed to suit almost anyone. Thanks for reading. Yet another adventure...

Advantages: Lots of fun
Disadvantages: Complicated plot and writing

lead to me to realize that this book was in fact penned by Claude Voilier after Bylton?s death. This author aparently continued the series in French. Sadly, the differences are quite striking and disconcerting. I would even go to the extent of saying that there is no real fun present in this book: No picnic basket, no rides in the countryside and not even their warm beds to sleep on. Such little details are completely clichéd, but they are also the little details that helped into making the Famous Five legendary. This must also be among the rare books where even George shows signs of being frightened and at one point, she even cries with fear and despair. The writing style is as different as the unusual plot.
