Surfing With the Alien is an album of interesting and technically blinding songs. But then an album full of instrumentals has to be. The style varies from blues (The incredible Satch Boogie) to rock (Surfing With the Alien) to ambient (Always with me, always with you). This album will be of interest to any guitarist, if only for the ‘oooh’ factor. My one criticism (And it’s a popular one with me) is the length of the album, sure you get a lot of notes in the 37 minutes of the album but it’s still only 37 minutes. Personally I love it but if you pay to much for it you may feel ripped off.

I love Satraini... and i saw him live in the G3 2004.... shame about Robert frip being a pile of pants ! But still.... Ok review, but add a little about each track?

Wahey - same taste in music. I've seen Joe Live 4 times and he is absolutely mind-blowing!!!!! wow
