Advantages: Great jokes, funny Disadvantages: None
This has to be one of the funniest movies ever made! I know it?s one of my favourites and I have to say that I generally don?t really like spoof movie. Usually everything about a spoof movie annoys me, it?s repetitive and predictable but the very things that put me off from these are actually the reason why I can?t help loving this movie. It?s the same with everyone I talk to too, this movie seems to have gained a bit of a cult status since it was released and has become a much talk about film.
Airplane was released in 1980. It?s a spoof disaster movie of yes, you?ve guessed it, a plane crash/plane situation. Apparently, according to an article I read, in a major 2007 survey by Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, it was judged the second greatest comedy film of all time. It seems to have gained the same reception in the US as well ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Airplane! (DVD)
Advantages: some good songs, good jamming Disadvantages: very poor sound quality
white rabbit is a collection from hippie rockers jeffersonairplane. this album is mainly live recordings from around 1969.
the album includes memorable airplane songs 'today', 'somebody to love', 'tobacco road' and 'you're my best friend'. there are 18 tracks in total and provides a pretty definitive example of the songs that the band were doing during that stage in the bands evolution.
unfortunately, as the songs are recorded at live gigs the sound quality is poor. the vocals are at times hard to understand and the album hs been poorly mixed meaning sometimes the sound levels get too high and the quality is completely ruined.
there are some good trcks and examples of how good jefferson airlne were live with songs such as 'high flying bird' and 'its no secret' being good examples. lyrically the album is ok, but is firmly set ...
Advantages: Cooling effect, help you sleep better Disadvantages: fairly expensive (but a one-off cost if you take care of it), faint plastic-y smell
involved).
Whilst browsing the website it became apparent that there is not just one type of Chillow available - you can buy the original Chillow, the mini Chillow, and the new Chillow Plus! I bought the Chillow Plus, for reasons I'll go into below.
The Original Chillow - measures 52cm across x 34.5cm down x 2cm thick. The original Chillow is cool on one side, so is perfect for resting on your pillow at night (or even inside your pillowcase if you prefer). The other side is flocked, which I believe is to make sure it doesn't slip about on your pillow.
The mini-chillow - measures 35cm x 25cm x 2cm. This isn't designed to be used for sleeping on as it isn't big enough, but I believe it could be used when travelling, perhaps on a plane or in a car.
The Chillow Plus - has the same measurements as the original Chillow, but the difference ...

Album Notes
Jefferson Airplane: Marty Balin, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen (vocals, guitar); Grace Slick (vocals, piano, organ, recorder); Jack Cassady (guitar, bass); Spencer Dryden (percussion). Recorded at RCA Victor's Music Center Of The World, Hollywood, California. This 2001 reissue of SURREALISTIC PILLOW contains the stereo version followed by the original mono mix. From the opening, hard-edged chords of "She Has Funny Cars," it's apparent that SURREALISTIC PILLOW, Jefferson Airplane's sophomore effort, is a far more spiky beast than the band's debut. It became not only San Francisco's soundtrack to the Summer Of Love, but all of America's. It spawned two Top Ten classics ("Somebody To Love" and "White Rabbit") and established the Airplane as one of the main pop voices of the cultural revolution. Some of the newfound dynamism can be attributed to personnel changes. Singer-keyboardist Grace Slick, who joined the Airplane following a stint in the mildly successful Great Society, had a unique artistic gleam her predecessor, Signe Anderson, never possessed--both of the aforementioned hits were songs she'd written for her former band. And new drummer Spencer Dryden could make the music shake with heretofore-unheard polyrhythms, or walk a straight line with militaristic precision. SURREALISTIC PILLOW's other strengths lay in the band's boldly diverse sound. Effortlessly gliding from twisted Motown (the electrified "3/5 Of A Mile In 10 Seconds"), to Dylanesque rock (Balin's "Plastic Fantastic Lover") to an acoustic, psychedelic bluegrass instrumental (Kaukonen's "Embryonic Journey"), the Airplane proved themselves able to at once interpret the cultural tide and make it radio-friendly.
