Fully paid up non-conformists and out and out eccentrics, King Prawn have been a live favourite around the London club scene for a while now, especially the last couple of years. With their, excuse the pun, blend, of punk-fuelled ska and unseeminglyunrelenting thirst for fun, the band sound like Madness, The Specials and the Clash all rolled into one...not a bad combination at all, and eclectic to say the least. Thing is, it works with their particular brand of music at times being infuriatingly catchy! Check out 'Someone to hate', the ska and skanking 'No peace' (my personal fave) and the reggae beat of 'London born' and rock on with those poor jellybabies as they plunge to their death in the blender!
