I have played lots of DVDs, and some CDs on this player, and although a bit slow to detect the disk, it works well every time - even when the disks have given me problems on other machines. The only faults I can find with this DVD Player lie with it being slow to respond to the eject button on the front panel - it is almost as if it is getting lost in some software loop trying to work out if you really want the tray to be opened... Yes... That is why I pressed the eject button! The remote control seems to be a fairly standard design from Cambridge Audio ...

Get Yourself...... a different workout DVD

Advantages: More fun than your average workout DVD
Disadvantages: Not that strenuous, some bits completely useless if you dont have a pole

The Stripper - Hot Ferrari So even if the DVD is a bit rubbish, you still get a decent CD with some sexy tracks on, for you to make your own strip tease up to. I did enjoy the DVD somewhat, but sadly, I wouldn't really recommend it. If you're really really open minded and still want to give it a go, I'd wait a month or so until its on sale for £3.99 in the bargain bin of every music shop. And if you really want to Get Yourself Fit To Strip - Get yourself to a fitness class Get yourself proper pole dancing lessons and Get yourself another workout DVD. ...

Denon DVD-2800 an audio visual masterpiece

Advantages: Great picture and sound quality, Good build quality, Champagne gold finish looks nice
Disadvantages: MP3 feature not as good as it should be, Not cheap

Background Information I had been looking for a DVD player for quite a while, but I wanted the full DVD experience. Not just the great picture quality but the full Dolby 5.1 surround sound. I had also decided to replace my HI-FI system, I did not have the space for both so a Home Theatre System was the answer. Buying a home theatre system I started by looking in the major electrical stores, where I found some nice Sony and Panasonic systems. These systems sounded ok and the picture quality was good, but the small speakers struggled sometimes and the playback of CD's did not sound very good at all. I was going to need a Home Theatre System with a bit more power so I decided to spend a little more cash, after all a good HI-FI system would cost around £800.
