Survivor [ECD] - Destiny's Child

Advantages: I FANCY great tracks like DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE that give me a HAPPY FACE.
Disadvantages: Loads of filler tracks. Beyonce is a NASTY GIRL when she is a producer.

...**INTRO: WHY I PURCHASED THE SURVIVOR ALBUM** Well the answer to the subject matter revolving around myself buying Destiny Child's 'SURVIVOR' is pretty simple. Advantages: The 2 number 1's a number 2 and new material!, More potential Number ones, Ballads and dance tunes!
Disadvantages: one weak song (Dance With Me)

...in this song. 9/10 Survivor [4:14] One of my favourites on the album, this was the second release from DC from this album and what a hit it was! I just love the string accompaniment that comes with this song. Other good features to the song includes the fast sung lyrics once more which has thought provoking meaning once more and that great video that accompanied the single where they were stranded on an island. ...to be released in the summer and is a great dance-floor type track very funky sadly it only reached number 2 thanks to Atomic Kitten! Thanks girls! The song includes a great sample and it is a really catchy song. When I first heard the song, I thought it was a great let down but this song certainly is a grower and you need to give it time. I have been a huge Destiny's Child fan since I first heard Beyonce, Kelly, LaTavia and Letoya'a great debut single 'No, No, No' in 1997. I soon bought their debut album and it was top of my playlist for a long time. This album showed the group to their best ability. The outstanding thing about this group that put them above all other soul/R & B groups was their harmony. LaTavia has a deep alto voice that gave a great depth to their chorus. It was ...
...unique. The debut album has a lot of beautiful ballads and mid-tempo songs that makes it sound incredibly mature, especially when you consider the girls were only 16 when they recorded it. Advantages: Catchy and very addictive tunes
Disadvantages: Not as R'n'B as the first two albums

...did I say that? - Survivor stormed to the top of the charts. Unsurprisingly the album of the same name did the also topped the album charts. And it was me adding to the sales because I armed with my money bought the album and eagarly anticipated the result. The first few tracks are great. Independnt Women part 1 is of course one of the best tracks, as is Survivor - you know what I think. Then comes Bootylicious which went on to become the next single. ...
