Disadvantages: Not enough tracks on the album

...and bearly audiable strum of the guitar. 6. Still Not Ready is a soft jazz style number with magnetic vocals. However half-way through this track you feel as though more could have been done with it. A bit of a mixed up track that doesn't sounds as if it has any real tune to it. 7. Early Morning Rain is a cheerful little ditty. Bouncy guitar strings and a chirpy vocal makes this a perfect number with which to wake up to in a morning. 8. Tennessee Waltz is slightly on the melancholy side. Yet again, a simple guitar tune with rather sad vocals; this almosts sound as if she has a tear in her eye as she's singing this. No powerful vocals on this one but a wonderful track nonetheless. 9. I Can Only Be Me could almost be a Whitney Houston of Mariah Carey tack, except for the fact that Eva's voice is a lot better! Advantages: a beautiful relaxing outstanding album
Disadvantages: sadly departed a damn shame

...An outstanding album from an amazing sounding lady, as live albums go this is one of my top choices, the songs are beautiful ,full of passion and soul, you cannot listen to this album without being touched by Eva's sublime voice.As female artists go Eva is my favorite, there is not one song on this album that i think "i'll fast forward this one". Her band do her a lot of justce as everything just fits together nicely. For me the stand out tracks are "Stormy Monday" , "Tall Trees of Georgia", and " Oh Had I a Golden Thread" , I like to listen to this with all the lights off and just sitting on the settee and just soak up the atmosphere. The only annoying thing on the album is the person who insists on tapping there glass whilst Eva sings tall trees in georgia,it must have been picked up by an atmos mic, i could slap whoever it was... Advantages: some wonderful tracks
Disadvantages: a couple of jazzy songs

...The album opens with "Fields of Gold", it a nice, slow, peaceful song. Although Sting's version is the origional, it does pale in significence to Eva's soulful interpretation. "Wade in the Water" is more jazzy than the previous track, with the most obvious instrument being the trumpet, and although I didn't really think that I liked this song, I still can't listen to it without tapping my foot to the beat. "Autumn Leaves" has a similar feel to it as "Fields of Gold". It's a lovely track which possesses the familiar echoey quality of Eva's voice along with a satisfying acoustic feel. the addition of a tinkling piano towards the end completes the track perfectly. "Songbird". I love this one. The additional background vocals make this track superb and add a depth to the song which I haven't heard in anyone else's music... Read review
