Advantages: Great songs, great playing Disadvantages: vocals an acquired taste
KevinAyers has always had a reputation as being one of the great under-achievers of British Rock music. In many ways this is true because although Ayers had the looks, the talent, the rich baritone voice, the laconic charm and the charisma to be a star (Bryan Ferry would have given his right arm to be as naturally stylish as Kev), he never could quite get himself together enough to make the step up from cult figure status. Thing is, Kev didn't seem to care too much anyway. As long as he could afford to indulge his passion for fine wines and soak up the sun in the Med then he was perfectly content.
All of this made for a body of work that varies wildly in style and consistency, but when he was on form Ayers could seduce your ears like few other singer-songwriters.

Advantages: good music Disadvantages: made me feel old .
song you can just imagine "a girl on a swing, such a pretty thing"
I used to swing on the swing outside my parents house. And swing silently and sing like the girl in the song It was somewhere to think As these notes That are played and Kevin Ayres sings I can see myself swinging in my long hair and long skirts .
The next song is "Soon Soon" this was released in 1976 with their essential old ditties collection do not really remember this song. It has female vocals again. What do you know about nothing people? Sings Kevin Ayres the female voice sing we know what you have seen we know what you mean we understand,
SweetDeceiver released 1975 this has a bit of a rocky rhythm to it. Some good guitar playing on here.
Going back to 1973 Caribbean moon is played next. This was a non album single it has that air of a Caribbean ...
Advantages: Moody, dark and full of suspense - just as a thriller should be! Disadvantages: A few minor plot flaws
Deceived is a film which I've watched several times as I enjoyed it so much the first time I saw it that I've watched it over and over again over the years since its release. This Damien Harris directed thriller was released back in 1991, was written by Mary Agnes Donoghue and Derek Saunders and produced by Michael Finnell, Wendy Dozoretz and Ellen Collett - quite a big production team there!
Adrienne (Hawn) is a successful art curator married to Jack (Heard) who also works in the art business. They have a 5 year-old daughter Mary and seem to have the perfect marriage. Scenes of how they met and fell in love are shown for effect which were quite pertinent to the storyline. Some bizarre occurrences take place and Adrienne starts to slowly get suspicious of her husband, such as him saying he was in one town when he was seen in ...
