Advantages: All albums in one box! And extra things - live tracks etc Disadvantages: Any true fan would PREFER all singles, b-sides, everything lol! but hey what can you do. Also - no 1984
...First of all, Let me just state that I am a huge Eurythmics fan - i just love them. Now obviously, if you dont really like the Eurythmics, then, well, this probably isn't for you! But if you do like them, if you love songs like "SweetDreams", "There Must Be an Angel", "sisters are doing it for themselves" and so on - well, you should certainly buy this.
The box is very pretty - Black, with 'Eurythmics' in one side then loads of songs printed artistically.
The albums themselves are in 8 digipacks - cool CD cases, which unfold and have lots of cool extra artwork that weren't necessarily in the original albums. Also inlay cards with info about the albums. Each album also has a few bonus tracks on. Did I mention how beautiful Annie and Dave are?

Advantages: A great chill out album, perfect for summer evenings Disadvantages: Very similar songs, not much variation

Advantages: Some of Newman's best work Disadvantages: The Jeff Lynne bits

All your bad dreams drift away."
The third song of the album closes the first chapter of Newman's life with his father waking him up for his first day of school:
"Son, if you fall behind you'll never get ahead"
Packed off with his cowboy outfit and Roy Rogers lunch pail, Newman arrives only to hear the "sweet children's voices calling" out to him – "Four eyes!"
It's a stunning conclusion to some of the rawest autobiography ever recorded. Simultaneously filled with warmth and misanthropic wit, Newman is exploring areas usually reserved for the most skilful of novelists. In fact, this opening triptych represents an artistic peak that Newman was unable to sustain. Nevertheless, the rest of the album contains a handful of songs that most writers would kill for.
Something Special is a gorgeous love song stripped of Newman...
