Sweet Revenge - Ryuichi Sakamoto

Advantages: Absolutely beautiful
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...I've always loved this film, and certainly one of the things which made it so remarkable was this excellent score. Ryuichi Sakamoto wrote it on his own, as well as starring in the film as the implacable Captain Yonoi. The tunes contained on it are as follows: 1. Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence 2. Batavia 3. Advantages: Brilliant songs and lyrics.
Disadvantages: Not very long album

...As many of us now My Chemical Romance (MCR) has increased in popularity dramatically throughout this and last year. With there release of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and high publicity with the help of such magazines as Kerrang they have become one of the best well known rock bands. Although this is there second released album I feel that the first did not get its intended publicity which placed My chemical romance on the back seat until there release of there latest album. There first released album I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love, I myself did not know of until the release of there latest album but as soon as I had listened to there latest album over and over again I wanted more so there first album was soon purchased. ...Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge - My Chemical Romance -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Chemical Romance are a quintet band from the US that play music of the punk genre. The band is a unique mix of Funeral For a Friend, Avenged Sevenfold and The Ramones with a heavy Emo twist, and bears a heavy resembelence to the songs from band "A Fire Inside". Punk-vamp-goths second album, "3 Cheers for Sweet Revenge" has rocketed them to fame over here in the UK, with them scooping 2 awards at the Kerrang Awards, 1 being "Best Album". I saw this in my local music shop. The artwork on the front of the album hugeley attracted me, it was a cartoon of a couple about to kiss, however the females head appears to have been sewed back on and they are both bleeding.
