Advantages: Some INCREDIBLEY catchy tracks and very funny vocals Disadvantages: Whiney voices and some bellow par tracks
...in one go! Quite an achievement!
If The Government Could Read My Mind (2.22)
A really sweet song! Admittedly the idea of calling anything by The Vandals ‘sweet’ is a bit odd, but this is essentially a love song just with a bit of conspiracy theory thrown in as well – kind of like a musical version of The X-Files. Another incredibly up-beat song this starts off with bongos and a spooky bass and guitar part before changing to a mid-paced (for The Vandals) track with very funny lyrics – “I could stockpile food and join the militia, but I’d rather stay at hope and kiss ya”
Too Much Drama (2.45)
This is a serious Vandals track (Shock! Horror!) about kids learning everything from TV because their parents aren’t around to teach them. This is more like older Vandals stuff and features a weird...

Advantages: Happy punk-pop, Witty lyrics, A few fantastic songs Disadvantages: A few songs too long, A little repetitive
...First things first...do not take this album, or anything by The Vandals seriously! This album is packed full of, to say the least, somewhat amusing songs. Anyway, lets allow the music to do the talking...
Album opener 'People That Are Going To Hell' is an incredibly lively and sing-a-longable song. Extremely happy and upbeat, it tells us what happens to the people who do bad things in life, only to spend the rest of their days in agony (nice!). Interesting for the first few listens but after a while, is easily skipped, but is bearable most of the time as it is only just over 2 minutes long.
Track 2, 'Cafe 405' holds far more longetivity then the previous track due to very witty and quick lyrics. It is all about somebody's obsession with a girl working in, presumably, a cafe, and how his life revolves around her. One of the funniest...

Advantages: Good songs Disadvantages: Weird inlay card
...A friend of mine has lent me Hitler Bad, Vandals good and I was surprised to find just how good this album was and I never knew it existed. The Vandals are in the same class of music as Pennywise, CIV and the more popular Blink 182. Some of the songs on this album are very strange to say the least. the best song called I've Got An Ape Drape is all about hair cuts. It does sound abit lame but it is a boody good track. there is also a song about being dumped by your girlfriend and a truck running her over and chopping off her head. The inlay card is a bit strange the songs are not in the same order as they are billed and almost every song the lyrics in some place are not the same as the inlay card which does make following the tracks a little confusing. Looking at the cartoons on the inlay card it is not hard to see where...
