Never did I think that I would one day be swinging my hips to tune's originally performed by Sinatra and co, but it's gone and happened by 'eck! I've even got my three year old son singing along to Mack The Knife!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this album, knowing that the style would be completely different from his usual pop/rock which I favour considerably, but after watching the live show he performed at the Albert Hall - I had to have it.

Robbie's voice has certainly developed since his Take That days, one listen to the first track 'I will talk and Hollywood will listen' will prove that to you. This song is an original, written by Robbie himself and Guy Chambers. This is a very dramatic, orchestral and cleverly written song about stardom. Great start!

Compared to his other albums...well, this is completely different, do not expect the Robbie of old! (Apart from the cheeky and humourous out-takes at the end of some of the songs!) The songs are classic swing and 'jazzy'. I admit,It's nothing new, but it's fun to listen to, and it's quite obvious that he had fun recording these songs.

All the songs are superbly performed, but my personal favourites from the album are Mack The Knife, It Was A Very Good Year (Frank Sinatra's voice added in - great effect!) Mr Bojangles (wow) Things (Duet with Jane Horrocks) Have You Met Miss Jones (From the Bridget Jones Diary movie) and Beyond The Sea.

This may not be everybody's cup of tea, It's worth listening to before buying. But, it's nothing new, just Robbie paying tribute to the great swing singers of the 50's, he sings well, but only risk buying if 1.You are a fan of Robbie's. 2. You like big band/swing music.

But in my opinion - Classic!
