Sworn Vengeance (Limited Edition) - Severe Torture

Advantages: The CD will make a nice coaster for my cuppa'
Disadvantages: Very, VERY bad singer and very poor lyrics

...Craig David, the Southampton singer rumoured to be homosexual has recorded yet another round of torture for us, his singing ability is very limited, sounding like a dying cat at the best of times! Even fans of the genre won't like this singer and if anyone does like his songs it's because they fancy him. I made the terrible mistake of buying this CD, and until now it has been left gathering dust, I've only taken it out now to write a review on it. I simply HATE this singer, Why? Because the lyrics are very poor and the way he can make 1 word last several seconds or 20 words last 1 second all in the same song is very annoying! My advice is straight forward, if you see this CD in a shop make like Craig David and start walking away! Normally my opinions would be longer than this but I'll save you the trouble of reading pages... Read review

Advantages: the japanese song, Teo Torriate
Disadvantages: It all ends too soon!

...This has been my favourite Queen album for a long time now. Don't get me wrong, I love the other albums and the variety they offer, it's just this one sends shivers down my spine from the second I press play. Even though (I feel) songs like 'You take my breath away', 'Millionaire's Waltz' and 'Teo Torriate' have been severely underrated they're worth a listen if you like the more grandiose of Queen's songs...Then there's the classic 'Somebody to love' and a couple of other singles so if you're tempted to buy a Queen album, ignore the Greatest Hits and all the rehashes that Brian May keeps releasing, and go back to their roots and get this one. you won't regret it.... Advantages: 28 tracks, price
Disadvantages: A few weak tracks, sometimes difficult to listen too

...others such as the Live in Hyde Park album. This album has an amazing total of 28 tracks on two CDs, CD 1 is called Jupiter and CD 2 is called Mars. I have the Digipack (Special Edition) version of this album. ~ Jupiter ~ 1. Dani California (4.42) - This track has a great drumbeat and some great lyrics. The chorus is very distinct. I particularly enjoy the hallowing and soulful singing parts. Quite heavy on the ears and I believe requires certain mood to listen too. The guitar rifts towards the end are stunning. Altogether a very up beat track. 8.5/10 2. Snow (Hey Oh) (5.34) - Despite the name this track is far from chilling. This track ranks amongst one of my favourite tracks on the whole album. Soulful 'Hey Ohs' combine with the music and do well to create a fairly calm and happy tune. 9/10 3. Charlie (4.37) - There is a funk feel... Read review
