...the public eye with the Synchronicity album, their fourth, which produced a Number 1 single in Every Breath You Take, plus two further hits, Wrapped Around Your Finger and Synchronicity II. Their success remained undiminished, and indeed reached new heights in the US, where both album and single lodged at Number 1. They moved away with this set from the usual, bland poppy melodies but it did their popularity no harm at all and is one of their strongest ... Read review
