...than a decade later. System is his latest album that fans had eagerly awaited after the last album failed to get off the ground in the early stages of recording.
Just because he hasn't been recording doesn't mean that Seal hasn't been writing. His music and lyric writing is still as strong as ever and that applies just as equally to his brilliant voice.
So whats on the album?

08 - Dumb. Very jangly steel guitar intro that stands behind the main tune, it gets an occasional bit of bleepy synth.
09 - The Right Life. A very hammondy style organ and the sound of waves crashing on the shore make for a good intro to quite a dancey style track with Seal's treated with a ton of vocoder. This sounds like it will eventually become ... more
Seal shot to fame giving his lyrical style to Adamski's "Killer" all the way back in the early 90's and it's good that he is still going strong more than a decade later.
01 - If its in my mind, its on my face. Good title and good song. It'll remind you of his previous stuff and its just as good as anything he's done before.
02 - Amazing (Thin White Duke edit). This is a remix of the track that was released as the 1st single off this album. To be honest I don't much care for remixes and this is nothing special.
03 - Just Like Before. Another mellow guitar based track. This is the kind of stuff that it seems that Seal could keep cranking out forever really ;-)
04 - Loaded. Great string intro. Starts out very quiet and builds into a bit of a dance track. I dont overly care for the words but the tune is good.
05 - Wedding Day. This is a duet, Seal singing with his supermodel wife, Heidi Klum. Heidi actually has a really good voice, I can't quite remember who she reminds me of but her part of the track does remind me a bit of Come Together by The Beloved.
07 - System. The track the album is named after. Something that starts slow and speeds up. Seal telling you "we're just trying to beat the system" interesting lyrics. I wonder which system he's referring to.
This sounds like it will eventually become a single, sure to be popular with the dance crowd due to its musical construction.
10 - Rolling. Another steel guitar intro with lots of violin backing. A typical Seal ballad, as minimal as possible. Makes for a nice chill-out track.
11 - Immaculate. If i didn't know this was Seal I'd swear it was Massive Attack. That's who it reminds me of in a good way and for a very good reason. I'm a fan of them as well. Again this is pretty minimal with vocals & synthy strings & drums. It sounds like it'd make quite a good tv theme for something spooky or a thriller.
12 - Amazing. The unremixed version of the track that was this albums 1st single. Personally I feel there are too many instruments going on, I don't like it as a track or as a single but thats just me.
Generally the album is good on the whole, some of the tracks are a bit long. At just over 4mins Immaculate is about perfect length. If you like Seal this is well worth a listen.
Advantages: Many Great Songs. Disadvantages: Missing One Of MY Favourite Songs Though
...his fifth album in line. System , which is the name of Seal's fantastic album , was released in the shops in late 2007. I received this album as a gift for christmas , and i could tell you that it was one of the best presents i managed to get. I was extremely please with this album , as Seal is near the top spot on my favourite singers list.
What Songs Are Featured On The Album? Well , the album brings us some of Seal's all time hits and even some ... ...on this recently released album. System is bound to get you in the mood for the days ahead , and with Seal's grest voice this album really is a relaxing mix of music for anyone to enjoy.
Where Can I Buy This Album? You can buy this brilliant new album in supermarkets , shops such as HMV or other music stores. You can also buy this album online on websites like play.com and ebay or Amazon .... A definite must have.

Advantages: Some good lvoe songs, some catchy songs Disadvantages: Not many love songs, some songs shoundt of been on the cd,
I recently bough R&b love songs as i saw it advertised on tv. It looked good. Also i'm a big fan of love songs. I take of the seal of the CD and put it in my sound system. To be found very disappointed as the album dosent really contain love songs it like contains songs that are really not love songs, for example
*Akon - Lonely
*Kanye West - Diamonds
*Black Eyed Peas - Don't Phunk With My Heart
*Beyonce - Crazy In Love
*2Pac Feat: Elton John - Ghetto Gospel
I don't see why these songs are on the album. Especially the 2Ppac song. This album could of been better but the songs on here just, well most of them aren't love songs. Thats what i feel. I feel this album is not worth buying. This is not a bad CD at all the songs on there are good but tis called love songs the album. Most of the songs are RnB classics, not ...
I bought this compilation at Asda for £4.97 to kickstart my music collection after losing most of it.
After being stopped at the entrance because the checkout girl forgot to remove the security tab, I've headed home to test it out armed with a small tipple.
....well maybe medium sized lol
I'm tearing off the cellophane when I notice it's a Sony compilation. Oh Great!!! Rootkit infestation. After all the headlines that's made I do 360 turn and put it in the HiFi instead.
Three strikes and my bad luck run should now be gone!!!
So I crack the seal on my bottle and turn the volume up.
CD1 has a good mix of Air Guitar and chill. Well impressed with the first disk and pronouncing it well deserved member of my regular playlist.
Queen - Killer Queen
David Bowie - Hereos
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl

For SYSTEM, his fifth studio album, Seal hired producer Stuart Price, the man responsible for Madonna's disco-oriented comeback album, CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR. Price's touch is all over the album, which brings Seal's smooth, atmospheric soul-pop back to the house music roots of his early-1990s debut. SYSTEM percolates with thumping grooves and electronic beats, but the album still has a dreamy, glossy sheen. Even uptempo tracks such as "Amazing" and "Dumb," wash over the listener like waves, with Seal's emotive, textured voice high in the mix. Despite a misstep (a sappy duet with bride Heidi Klum on "Wedding Day"), SYSTEM proves to be one of Seal's best albums.
