t rex were a great band at a sort of change in music. It is glam rock and it sounds well dated now and the videos I mean like old top of the pops footage looks riddiculous, The famous songs are Get it on which had a brilliant rythem which was beefed up by oasis a few years ago. the lyrics are very weak though in that particular song but quite prophetic in others like children of the revolution. There are loads of songs that everyone has heard but not sure who they by but a lot of them are by T rex.
