...Ode to joy was written by one of the worlds most renounced composers - Beethoven. This is in my opinion the best of beethoven's symphonies. This song is the easy to play and the tune is very catchy. The music is E E F G G F E D C C D E E D D E E F G G F E D C C D E D C C. The easy tune is very catchy and quite easy to remember. If you are learning to play the piano or keyboard I would suggest that you start by learning this one. I would recommend it to anyone who likes joyful, happy tunes and people who have kids. ...of diferent entries as in a fugue, as more and more instruments join with their particular qualities a joyfull interaction and socialisation occurs, indicating the coming of life on the newly created world. 3rd Movement Adagio Molto E Cantabile This slow movement is lyrical and tranquil as order develops from the chaos of creation. The 4th Movement Presto and the 5th Movement Allegro Assai, combine to make the finale. This part of the symphony is based on the poem by Schiller (An Die Freude) Ode To Joy. Beethoven combines choral with orchestral music, hence the colloquial name for this symphony (Beethoven’s Choral Symphony).The theme of joy is first herd from the orchestra and the cello’s and double basses alone, they are then joined by the entire orchestra, a bass voice proclaims “O friends, not such sounds as these; let us strike up... Disadvantages: McLachlan's most conventional, unexciting, uninspired, monotonous, dangerously anesthetizing disc; lyric-less booklet.

...I hate to downrate anything by Canadian songstress Sarah McLachlan, but "Surfacing" (1997) simply pales against the rest of her impressive discography. Might she have been submerged for far too long before coming up for air to record this? "Surfacing" feels as if it's stuck in one deep, long groove, and "Suffocating" might have been a more apt title. Despite what producer Pierre Marchand and Sarah say about "Solace" (an album of "unfinished" songs), that sophomore effort from 1991 far outstrips this later one in terms of novelty, excitement and inspiration. While the lush production values equal those of "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" ("FTE", 1993), "Surfacing" lacks FTE's originality and diversity.
