Creative EP-630
I have recently tried creative EP-630 and it cost a quarter of a similar pair of Bose phones that I'd normally go for. Ordering from their website couldn't be easier and the site is locked for security of payments.
The ear pads are rubber and far more comfortable to the ears. The design is by far more ergonomically and causes less stress to the ears.
The sound is by far the real selling point however and is a stunning and enhanced listening pleasure. The volume on my MP3 is extraordinarily loud but the quality does not fall away and wobble/ scratchiness are simply not there, even at full volume.
The bass tones are very deep and you made need to lighten them up with a little more treble. The sound in general is very crisp.
The cord is very long which is a bonus as I run on road and on the treadmill ...

Advantages: Cheap and Brilliant Quality Sound Disadvantages: Common problem with sound going in one of the earphones.
I bought these Creative EP-630 earphones after I had the Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia earphones for about 2 years and was really impressed by them apart from the rubber on the wire. It felt very flimsy and cheap and if you rolled the cable in your fingers you could feel the wire moving about. When they were about 18 months old the rubber started breaking and exposed bare wire. These earphones were £26 when I bought them and for only 2 years worth I thought this was a bit expensive, so I started looking for good quality cheap ones.
While in the process looking for new earphones, people were recommending the Creative EP-630 as a brilliant all rounder with great sound and good quality for a brilliant price. In the end I bought some for around £6-7, this price is available from a few online shops.
I have now owned these earphones for over ...

Advantages: Superb indie pop/rock Disadvantages: Perhaps not as musically arresting as previous work
The very title of this fourth album by American unclassifiables The Decemberists sets the tone for the whole record - their love of the unconventional and original is evident in every note. This is what is so fantastic about this band - they make no concessions their major record label, choosing instead to make an album that focuses principally on an obscure Japanese folk tale. Lyrically, The Crane Wife is built around two different narrative ideas: a re-telling of Shakespeare?s ?The Tempest? and the Japanese folk tale of the ?The Crane Wife?. Musically, anything and everything goes.
Twelve-minute epic ?The Island? features the band?s predilection for storytelling through their lyrics, rather than resorting to the clichéd angst and melancholy favoured by other contemporary bands. A bold choice as the second track, this song is ...

Spanish edition. In a sharp contrast to the twee pop and concise song structures of their previous recordings, the Decemberists pulled out all the stops for THE TAIN EP. The disc consists of one multi-part composition that stretches out over 18-and-a-half minutes. It starts with a sinister guitar riff that's soon picked up by the entire band and hammered home with a bludgeoning feel that's closer to Iron Butterfly or Deep Purple than to the band's usual reference points (e.g. Belle & Sebastian or Robyn Hitchcock). Over the course of the EP, the band traverses several time signatures, moods, and instrumental settings, with organ, electric piano, and accordion variously taking up the melodic theme. Those who favor the Decemberists' more customary, docile, folk-flavored approach may be put a bit off-balance by the undeniably prog-rock-tinged ambition of THE TAIN. Yet the Decemberists have created a highly successful song suite here, which for a humble folk-rock band (or any other type of rock band for that matter) is no easy thing.
