This is going to be an unpopular review, but I'd like to voice my opinion on why I think this is an extremely overrated album.
However, I'm not entirely full of rage when it comes to this album. Once I saw it begun selling extremely well at the music store I work for, I decided to buy a copy, spend an evening listening to it, and try to keep a clear mind throughout.
This album is entirely one dimensional and once you've heard one track, you've heard them all. All it seems to consist of is poor vocals, even worse than that is the cheap sounding synthesizer beats which are usually out of place and extremely obnoxious.
There aren't actually 17 tracks on the album, well not 'songs' per se. Quite a few of them are simply 'fillers' which introduce the next song, although this isn't the case for users of iTunes, as they are combined into the songs themselves.
I'd like to at least give a good point about this album, and it comes in the form of track 14, 'Johnny Sniper'.
This song is actually the only positive point about the album. It's a sad note though, it proves that this band does have talent, it just seems to of forgot about it for the majority of this album.
Overall, you're better off picking this up on iTunes, at least on that you can listen to samples and purchase individual tracks.
