I have been following blink 182 from the start. When I got their new album I was very excited. I played it and found it all right at first. But after listening to it a couple of times for the first time ever I found myself bored whilst listening to blink 182. All the new stuff is far to popish. I was really disappointed. Blink 182 have ditched there old style for the new style of pop/rock. This has caught the attention of all the little kids and left all the old blink 182 fans bored. I did have a ticket to there Wembley concert but I swiftly sold it on after hearing their new stuff.

Here is some information on the tracks(excluding the three bonus tracks):

1)Anthem part two:
This is one of the good songs on the album. I have know Idea why the call it a sequel to "anthem" because it is nothing like it. You can pick out bits of punk in this song but it is mainly pop.

2)Online songs:
This is true blink 182 style. It bears quite a resemblance to their old music. It is basically about friends that meet over the Internet.

3)First date:
How popish can a song get. This song is terrible it really is and it sounds so popish. It is about some guys first date and it is so horribly eary.

4)Happy holidays you b*****d
This song I thought sounded like the usual blink 182 toilet humour style. Dam right the lyrics are but the music isn’t it is just loads of swearing to a pop background.

5)Story of a lonely guy:
This is quite a good song actually. It is a story of a lonely guy. It is a slow punk song and sounds quite good.

6)Rock show:
This song is O.k. It has some very clear bits of punk in it but it also has some very clear pop in it. Its all about falling in love with a girl that you met at a rock show.

7)Stay together for the kids
This song is more of a metal song. It starts off really quiet but then gets really loud and metalish and finishes with a punk style. This song is all about divorce and how it sucks. Its quite a good song.

8)Rollercoster:
This song has quite a bit of the punk style in it. Its all about feeling like you have just been on a rollercoaster.

9)Reckless abandon:
This is another pop punk song. Not really to keen on this song.

10)Every time I look for you:
This is the best song on the album. It is total punk. It featured as one of the songs on "American pie two". Its all about when you really need someone they are not there.

11)Give me one good reason:
This song is a normal pop song and it just sings about why girls pierce there nose and various other bits of rubbish.

12)Shut up:
This is punk style but features the characteristics of a limp bizkit song as it try’s to fit as many f**k words into a song as possible. This is not good.

13)Take me home:
This song I about getting drunk and waning to be take home. It is a punk/rock song. One of the better songs on the album

To be frank I think this album should be avoided like eating malaria sandwiches. If you are a fan of there old stuff dont by this. Its a waste of money. Money that you could be spending on one of there old albums.
