I bought this CD when I decided to try out some Blink 182 music, having previously not heard much of their stuff, they are now one of my favourite bands and I can't believe I never liked them before!

I bought this on holiday with their last album the self-titled Blink 182.

I listened to them both every chance I got- in the car, on the beach, everywhere. This continued throughout my Summer holidays a couple of years ago.

I really enjoy listening to this album, it's got some really fun songs on it. Punk rock isn't normally my kind of music, but I definitely like Blink's music.

The lyrics and vocals are good. However, I think you either love or hate Tom Delonge's voice, I like it, but I can see some people being annoyed by it. Travis plays the drums really well of course as usual.

Heres the track list-

1) Anthem Part Two-
Lead vocals by Tom Delonge. It's about how kids don't have much of a say in the world and that "if we're f****d up, you're to blame" meaning politicians, authority figures etc.
"We really need to see this through. We never wanted to be abused. We'll never give up, it's no use. If we're f****d up, you're to blame"

2) Online Songs- Lead vocals by Mark Hoppus. About how he wishes that he could forget his girlfriend's past when she dated other guys and is rubbing his face in it basically. A really fast song, I like it.
"Please don't remind me, put your past behind me. It shines so bright it blinds me. I wish that this will end. Am I am not fine. Last night I saw you online. Your screen name used to be mine, why can't we just pretend."

3) First Date-
Sang by Tom. A really upbeat song about a guy getting ready to go out with a girl for the first time and being really nervous and hoping the night will last forever. I love this song.
"Let's go, don't wait. This night's almost over. Honest, let's make this night last forever."

4) Happy Holidays, You B*****d-
I'm not too keen on this song, it has lots of explicit lyrics in it, it's pretty funny to listen to though. Lead vocals by Mark Hoppus.
"It's Christmas Eve and I've ony wrapped two f*****g presents and I hate, hate, hate your guts, I hate hate hate your guts and I'll never talk to you again."

5) Story Of A Lonely Guy-
Lead vocals by Tom Delonge about how he's rubbish at picking up girls! I bet he doesn't have that problem anymore...A pretty good song.
"She makes me feel like it's raining outside. And when the storms gone I'm all torn up inside, I'm always nervous on, days like this like the prom, I get too scared to move cause I'm a f****n' boy".

6) The Rock Show-
Probably my favourite song on the album- lead vocals by Mark. About a girl he meets at a rock show and falls in love with. A great song.
"I fell in love with the girl at the rock show. She said 'what' and I told her that I didn't know. She's so cool, gonna sneak in through her window. Everything's better when she's around, I cant wait 'til her parents go out of town. I fell in love with the girl at the rock show."

7) Stay Together For The Kids-
Verse sang by Mark, chorus by Tom, about divorce. I read that it was about Tom coping with his parents divorce. Quite a good song.
"So here's your holiday, hope you enjoy it this time, you gave it all away, it was mine, so when you're dead and gone, will you remember this night, twenty years now lost, it's not right."

8) Roller Coaster-
Lead vocals by Mark. About a girl. Don't like this song so much.
"And now I'm breathing deeply, walking backwards, finding strength to call and ask her, Roller Coaster, favourite ride. Let me kiss you one last time"

9) Reckless Abandon-
Sang by Tom. I Like this song, but sounds quite similar to a couple of others.
"On and on, reckless abandon. Something's wrong. This is gonna shock them. Nothing to, hold on to. We'll use this song. To lead you on"

10) Everytime I Look For You-
Lead vocals by Mark, but with some backing by Tom. Quite a good song, but not that original, sounds like some of the others.
"Everytime I look for you the sun goes down. And I stumble when this whole thing runs around. I left another message, you are never around. But everytime I look for you the sun goes down once more. Will the last one out please shut the door."

11) Give Me One Good Reason-
Sung by Tom. I like this song, it's about school life and being a kid.
"So give me one good reason, why we need to be like them. Kids will have fun and offend. They don't want to and don't fit in."

12) Shut Up-
Lead vocals by Mark.
"I'll never ask permission from you. F**k off I'm not listening to you. I'm not coming home. I'm never going to come back home."

13) Please Take Me Home-
Lead vocals by Tom, but with some backing from Mark. A good song, but again kinda similar to others on the album.
"Please take me home. Too late, it's gone. I bet you're sad. This is the best time we ever had."

14) Untitled Track on the CD (Time To Break Up)-
Sang by Tom. I quite like this, it's about a relationship being over and having to let the girl go.
"Time to wake up. Where's your daughter? Hurt's to break up, She was stronger. All my friends say, please don't love her. What did i gain? Now i miss her so."

The CD booklet is black on the outside and says "Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics" on because of the bad language used in some of the songs. It has images of a plane, a pair of trousers (pants) and a jacket to symbolise "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket"- the name of the album. Inside the booklet are various funny photos of the band dressing up and messing around. The booklet also contains lyrics to all of the songs which is great (except for the last track), I hate CD booklets that don't print the lyrics in them.

A downside is that for me a few of the songs aren't that recogniseable and I find that after not listening to the CD for a while, I forget which songs are which because a couple of them sound quite similar!

Overall I think it is a good CD, I can't quite decide which one I like best out of this CD or their last CD, this one has "First Date" and "The Rock Show" on whilst their last album has "I Miss You" and "Always" on which I love.

I'd defintely recommend it to any Blink 182 fan, or music fan, however the explicit lyrics are not for young children or people who are easily offended!

I'd give it 9/10
