narrow street of two-up two-downs in Liverpool. They've been friends since they were toddlers and now they've become young ladies and left school. Joan finds work at Dunlop's tyre factory while Ginny's dream comes true when she is taken on as a counter assistant at Woolworths. But things don't work out as she had expected and for a while she carries around a dark secret. Meanwhile a neighbour Hannah is devastated at the death of her son and her future looks bleak until Ginny's mother Beth rallies her friends together to help the elderly woman through her darkest days. Then comes news that lifts Hannah's spirits and enables the old lady to laugh once again. And new arrivals in the street affect the lives of everyone.

My dad bought me this perfume at duty free, he always treats me to something at the end of our family holidays and i saw chance by chanel. Bein a desinger lovin girl i went over to smell it, knowing how good chanel perfume lasts and smells, i instantly fell in love with the fruity yet really sexy smell, it lasts ages aswell! I have the medium sized bottle and its great for your handbag if you carry round a reasonable sized one! The box is lovely too, really feminine and cute. I really do reccomend this perfume if you want a day and night smell, it does both and whenever anyone smells it(which they will!) and asks you what your wearing, you can say, 'oh, chanel darling' :)

Well what can i can the title pretty much sums it up. You have got to try it. Its only recently come out in England but ive had it since september 2002 as i brought it over seas. Quite suprised with the huge time lap.
Anyway i really like it
Smell- its really girly, has a distictive smell much different from the other chanels. its kind of refreshing and has a really strong favour that hits you instantly. i would partly describe it as flowerly but also a bit sweet. The combination of this is delicious.
Staying power- as it is really strong it tends to last a long time for the EDT which is great so it doesnt get used up quickly.
Packaging- i love the bottle its so cute and pink The lid is very secure which is important as it annoys me when they become loose and spill. its a cool cube shape that gives it that edge as the bottle ...
Advantages: Warmth, humour and some great descriptions. Disadvantages: Knowing that Adams is gone, and there'll not be more like this
