Advantages: Just great music! Disadvantages: NONE!

From start to finish, I love this CD! It's rare that I say that about any music at the moment - even my favourite artists and groups have tracks that I could quite happily skip through. This has a fantastic variety of songs which display this groups's versatility. They are easy to listen to (without being "Easy Listening") and even easier to sing along to. If you're like me, you'll find yourself humming their tunes after just one playing of this album! Before hearing this, I had only heard "Better Days" in the 'charts', but don't let that put you off; in fact having listened to the whole album many times, I'd probably rate Better Days as one of the weakest out of the whole lot!
Advantages: A fantastic album, every track a good one Disadvantages: Will probably cause prolonged damage to eardrums
With the release of Appetite for Destruction in 1987, the Guns 'N' Roses era began in which the band would take over the world. And from listening to the music on this album, its not hard to see why. The facts speak for themselves, appetite for destruction has become one of the biggest selling debut albums of all time.
Every single track on this amazing album is hard rock at its best, there is not one song on it that does not sound good. The hard sounding, headbanging, pulse racing sound created by this fantastic band is unique. Axl Rose's (lead singer) vocals come at you hard, loud and with aggression, while Slash (lead guitar) throttles out amazing guitar solos which perfectly accompany this. Add to this the powerful drumming, bass and rhythm guitar and you have a full and exciting sound.
Although all the onsg on it are good, there ...
Advantages: Excellent lyrics, beats even packaging, It's so excellent that words can't describe, IT'S THAT GOOD!!!!!! Disadvantages: It's not really a disadvantage but it is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!
give you whiplash as 50 boasts of living the life of champagne and nine millis. Unfortunately, if there's a downside to 50's take on the world, it's that the man's a bit fixated on guns. And while that's not uncommon in today's era of hip-hop, 50 goes a bit overboard. There must be hundreds of references to guns, shootings, and getting shot throughout the CD. Sure, it's the talk of the street, and yeah, 50's been shot in real life, but lyrically, 50 can be so clever it's a shame his verses always returns to his fascination with glocks and at times doesn't stretch much deeper.
That being said, what 50 does best is spit rhymes, and whether he's spitting about guns or girls, 50 flows effortlessly and with the hunger of someone who knows this is his one chance to make it in music. And like his mentor Eminem, he wasn't going to let the mic ...
Advantages: Original, Old School mixed with Contemporary Disadvantages: Far from a classic, tracks can become boring
of easily fufilled his contractal duties and produce a mediorce album that would sell copies thanks to his excellent repuatation, but the time he and his team has put into every song has to be appuladed. Not one song is awful and every song has something appealing about it. Even the intro samples the orginality of the album. Last Living Souls is brilliant, espically when the violins kick in but it is followed by an overated track mentioned earlier called Kidz with Guns, which is followed by the rather pointless 'O Green World'. Both songs have meaningful lyrics and perhaps take a well timed stab at yob culture and deforestation, but the quality of both don't do these issues any good. El Manana, 'November has come', 'All Alone' and 'White Light', are all better features of the album, but you get the feeling they are leading upto something ...
