Rosemary's Baby : Anyone for tannis?

Advantages: Knife-edge suspense, great acting, highly atmospheric
Disadvantages: Maybe a little dated, but I don't personally see that as a disadvantage

Rosemary Woodhouse and her struggling actor husband Guy, move into an apartment in New York?s Dakota Building. The previous tenant had been an elderly lady who died in a nursing home, after having become worried and confused to the point where she blocked off the access door to the adjoining apartment. Rosemary and Guy settle in and make friends with the elderly couple who live in the next door apartment; then the story gradually begins to unfold. Everyone Needs to Talk

Advantages: You'll never predic the end
Disadvantages: The subject matter is harrowing

We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver was a book that for some reason always caught my eye. Maybe it?s the striking front cover of a small boy staring endlessly out at you or maybe it was just the fact that so many people ad said so many positive things about it. Either way I knew that I just had to read it but despite this have only just got round to doing so, although it has been sat in my to read pile for quite some time. I must say however that I am now extremely pleased that I stuck by my instinct to want to read this book because it is outstanding in every sense of the word. The book delivers on so many fronts and is more than worthy of the Orange Prize for Fiction, which it won in 2005. Advantages: Good read
Disadvantages: Lots of threads, can be confusing

This is the 8th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. There is no particular main topic or theme in this book but it consists of various storyline and threads going at the same time. Let me first of all list the less major threads in this book: ? The wedding of the bellefleurs ? Sookie meeting Amelia?s father, a Louisiana tycoon ? Sookie meeting Amelia?s mentor Octavia ?
