**What Is It?** Tartan Army (Scottish World Cup Anthems) was put toghether by Scotland FC. It has 20 songs that have influenced Scottish football over the last 40 years. Written by various artists
**Quality Of Music?** Not bad actully. You can tell some of it was recoreded a while back as it is a bit crackily, but the music itself is great. It is VERY patriotic and has alot of traditional scottish instruments especially the accordion which appears in almost every song! Every song also has men singing about some subject relating to Scotland or football. They are very catchy so watch out! Alot of them are ballads which are very witty and once in a while quite rude! Again it is a bit crackily but it is very loudly recorded so i'm pretty sure that has something to do with it.
**Tracklist** 1. Easy Easy - Scotland World Cup Squad 1974 2.
Purple Heather - Stewart, Rod & Scotland Euro '96 Squad 3. Say It With Pride - Scotland World Cup Squad 1990 4. Ole Ole - Stewart, Rod & Scotland Euro '96 Squad 5. Scotland For Me - Cameron, Andy 6. Que Sera - Cameron, Andy 7. Big Trip To Mexico - Scotland World Cup Squad 1986 8. We Have A Dream - Scotland World Cup Squad 1982 9. We're The Scottish Supporters - Mr. Abic 10. We're On The Ball - Daly, Glen & The Fans Of Scotland 11. Scotland Scotland - Scotland World Cup Squad 1974 12. Fergie's Fusiliers - Gunn, Ben 13. Scotland Evermore - Tartan Lads 14. Ally's Tartan Army - Cameron, Andy 15. Viva Scotland - Gunn, Ben 16. Scotland Easy Okay - Cameron, Andy 17. Wembley '77 - Gunn, Ben 18. Cameron's Capers - Cameron, Andy 19. Scotland Rules - Sandy Scot 20. Ballad Of Kenny Dalglish - Big Bad Jock
**Price?** RRP: £10.99! I got it for my brothers birthday for £4.99. I wouldn't have paid £10.99 for it but maybe a football fan would of. You can also purchase it from iTunes but it only has half the songs and at £7.99 it's not a best buy so look out for the CD. You can actully still get the cassette as well! Look on ebay and even Amazon do it for about a £5!
**Cover?** Not very exciting. Has 3 famous scottish player kicking a ball with a flouresent yellow backround. The cover is pretty out dated and could do with a revamp. But i've seen worse covers.
**Where Can You Get It?** As i said you can get it of Amazon at about £8.99 but you can get it from about £4 if you look around. It may be avalible in different shops if you were willing to look around but it's not a widely, best selling CD so it may not be avalible. Also i don't think you'll find it at all in the rest of Britain as this is a scottish CD but have a look!
**Favourite Song?** Is definately "The Ballad Of Kenny Dalgliesh!" Its really funny and very original. I was singing that at school the next day and got some odd looks!
**Whats Right With It?** It has alot of passionate, fun patriotic scottish football songs. There are some memorable ones "Que Sera Sera" which is a remixed version of it with scottish/footie lyrics added. E.g it starts of, "When i was just a little lad, i asked my faither, wait will i be?" etc. It's a really fun CD for a brother, dad, uncle etc who likes Scottish footie. It's very original and great lyrics!
**Whats Wrong With It?** For me, its a bit outdated. It's a very fun thing but its not something you would have on your stereo of your car. I found you can only really listen to it once, then it is forgotten about then comes out after 3 years when you have your Uncle Bert from Aberdeen comes down, who is a big Scotland Football fan! I don't think you would really get your moneys worth at £10.99. I am a big Scotland footie fan and it does appeal to me but i wouldn't put it on my playlist.
**Conclusion?** A great fun gift for a scottish footie fan and i would reccomend it. But it is only a fun thing and the hiliarity does where off. It would be great for a pub actully, i wouldn't mind hearing that when Scotland are playing a game! Still not bad quality music, pretty bad price but rally good lyrics. It gets a 3 star rating from me!
