Initially this was bought as a spur of the moment buy which i regretted instantly. But as i listened to the album, i soon realised that not every song was like milkshake with a repetitive, monotone drone that sounded like i was on a bad radio frequency; infact soon i was singing along and raving to everyone i know about how great it is.

The album opens with an interesting and somewhat erotic intro which really does leave u feeling intruiged and begging for more.
TRICK ME(recently released as a single) is an excellent first track bringing in a great rhythm that u cant help but bop along to.
MILKSHAKE. The reason for the skip button on a CD player. I say no more.
KEEP IT DOWN combines an edgy, slightly rock style tune with a more gentle bridge that includes birds twittering.
IN PUBLIC is an excellent follow up to keep it down, it seems to want to do exactly the opposite. The steady beat and soft tone of voice along with the whispering echo and heavy breathing simply made me want to grab a pole and dance around it.
FLASHBACK has a more subtle sexual undertone laced with graons of desires and ever repetitive "ooh you make my body go yeah yeah". It creates an interesting listen that unfolds more as the song progresses. Listen to the words of this one and u'll see it really is very raunchy.
PROTECT MY HEART is a typical coversational song with Kelis singing to a subject who once again seems to have nothing but sex on his mind. A simple rhythm throughout with a slightly reptitive theme throughout.
MILLIONAIRE. One of my favourites on the album. A more upbeat feel to it with a lighter base and faster beat. Features Andre 3000 who provides and interesting combination of singing and slow rap which accompanies the feel of the song very effectively. A definite foot tapper that will have u singing "wherever there are cheese there are rats" until someone eventually kills you.
GLOW has a slow rhythm and steady beat which provides a great easy listening song with a bit of an edge.
SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA. Another easy listening song with a definite calming effect which left me feeling relaxed and soothed.
ATTENTION is a song with a definite more R and B feel to it. It presents a main rhythm which is repeated throughout the song and then a change of style which reverts back to the original. Not my favourite song on the album as i found it a little bit too repetitive and consequently boring.
ROLLING THROUGH THE HOOD. The title reflects the song. It had a definite ghetto feel which accompanied a more melodic tune.
STICK UP. A very different song compared with the others. It opens with organ style music which creates a slightly eerie feel and instantly gave me a sense of repentance, which was suplemented by the goulish high pitched noises.
MARATHON. This song had an inspiring under tone which gave me a strong sense of well being. The main rhythm however, did not reflect this and was more soulful and sad. The track ended with a more upbeat and definitely more encouraging melody. Following this was a slightly surprising but nonetheless in keeping with the intro, message from Kelis.

Overall i would definitely rate the album highly. With a subtle sexual feel to TASTY is most definitely that. Although it can be repetitive in some tracks and is not the type of CD that be listened to non-stop for a week it features NAS, Andre 3000 and Raphael Saadiq and is definitely an album worth buying, Despite my passionate hatred for the song milkshake i still thorougly recommend this to anyone considering buying it, I know u'll love it!!!
