Advantages: fun for all the family Disadvantages: none
Because my daughter loves barbie so much i decided to buy her this movie.
My daughter really enjoyed watching this movie not only because it was a barbie movie but because it is also a ballet movie.
Barbie swanlake is the third animated movie that has been made.

Advantages: Lovely music and my daughters love it!!! Disadvantages: weird CGI and swan lake now has a happy ending!!!
My two daughters sit with faces beaming whilst watching this feature length Barbie (very pink and fluffy although a bit dark at times) CGI animated film. IF your kids like Barbie they will ADORE this. I have to say I find the animation a bit weird to say the least but then I think I have been spoilt somewhat by the latest PIXAR creations on offer.
The film has the wonderful music from the ballet Swanlake and Barbie Odette and her friends go on an adventure with a unicorn and children who are turned into a skunk and a porcupine (I think!). They have defeat the evil bird man (Kelsey Grammer) and his daughter (an actress with an awful voice) as they try to get the Prince to fall for the horrible daughter. Odette is turned into a swan and needs help to break the spell so she can marry the prince and live happily ever after ...
Advantages: Very exciting and powerful piece of emotional hysteria Disadvantages: If you're obsessed with classical form and beauty, then this might just be too much

In 1868, Tchaikovsky encapsulated his beliefs in a concert overture entitled "Fatum." It was not received favourably and was not published until following the composer's death, which is understandable since the work is pretty insubstantial and mediocre. But it did serve as a foreshadowing of the composer's later Fate Symphonies.
A TIME OF HARDSHIP
1877 was a year of profound unhappiness for Tchaikovsky. The premiere of his great ballet SwanLake was a dismal failure, although the cold reception would soon turn into more favourable acceptance. His struggle with his homosexuality, something that was considered ...
