Disadvantages: Some bad orders

...This is the 'Greatest Hits' of 2Pac someone who does deserve to have his most famous raps referred to as hits because of how unique he is and how much he has contributed to rap as a genre. Disc 1: "Keep Ya Head Up" **Five Stars** This is a track sending out a positive message to people who often discrimate against young black females in the ghettos. Pac shows his soft side here and this is something that everyone can enjoy as the song isn't too hard-hittng for a rap song. This was from the earlier years of 2Pac's career, so that we can see how this superstar was formed. "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" (Feat. Snoop Dogg) **Five Stars** "Ain't nothin' but a gangsta party", this is my favourite club track from the West Coast. Greatest Hits from the Greatest Rapper

Advantages: Classic album shocasing the best of 2pac
Disadvantages: A few weak tracks, which should not have been included

...Greatest hits albums are usually not considered as classics nor generally do they define the pinnacle of an artist's career. However when it comes to 2pac's greatest hits there is an exception. Why is there an exception, well it can be put down to 2 major reasons. Firstly he was in the mid 90's the most famous rapper. Although his fame did not reach the heights as the likes of Eminem or Jay-Z today, he was still nevertheless reasonably famous and an exceptionally talented rapper. Secondly and perhaps most importantly though was the tragic fact that he had died just shortly before the release of this album. 2pac had been shot dead in a murder case that is still unresolved till this day and has been the subject of many conspiracy theories. Greatest Hits? Or Greatest Covers?

Advantages: It has some of their best songs
Disadvantages: It's not a fair reflection of the band

...The tracks on this album: 1. Welcome To The Jungle 2. Sweet Child O' Mine 3. Patience 4. Paradise City 5. Knockin' On Heaven's Door 6. Civil War 7. You Could Be Mine 8. Don't Cry (Original) 9. November Rain 10. Live And Let Die 11. Yesterdays 12. Ain't It Fun 13. Since I Don't Have You 14. Sympathy For The Devil What's wrong with this album? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - WAY too many covers for my liking. Sure, Knockin' On Heaven's Door was good, Live And Let Die was pretty damn good too, but on a Greatest Hits, covers should be more scarce (especially when they are Since I Don't Have You and Sympathy For The Devil - Tolerable, yes, greatest hits?
