About every 6-9 months, we need to buy new shoes, and what better place to do just that then Clarks, one of the UK's top shoe shops.
THE WINDOWS
I've seen many Clarks stores are very basic when it comes to windows, this Clarks had a few shoes on display, nothing else. Not drawing me in.
SHOPABILITY
There's a range of shoes in Clarks, adult shoes, trainers, school shoes and shoes for babies and toddlers. You could clearly see all the shoes being displayed, but I found everything tightly packed and there were very few different types of shoes in each selection. (e.g. one or two "Bootleg" and one or two "YoToy" under trainers)
WAS I BEING SERVED?
There were two people in the shop who could serve you, and they were helpful, there was one who was on the till, and one helping people try on their shoes, and also working ...

JIM CLARK CHILDHOOD HOME
Edington Mains Farm is where the Clark family moved when Jim was six years old, it no longer belongs to the Clark family & therefore not open to the public but the current owner is more than happy for anyone to inspect the house from the gate.
JIM CLARK MEMORIAL CLOCK & GRAVESITE
The clock was designed by his friend Ian Scott-Watson & is situated on the main street of Chirnside, not far from Duns. It is easily spotted with a model Lotus sports car on the top of the tower the clock is mounted on.

I went to Arnold Clark to buy my first car and was very pleased with the service i recieved from the sales staff, i spoke to 4 different people and all were helpfull and friendly.
I signed up for a used 55 reg Ford Focus, which i recieved a great deal including 6% finance including 12 months warrenty, 6months MOT and 12 months autocare mechanical warrenty (which i later found out i was paying for and they weren't free as i was lead to believe)
I picked the car up on tuesday and drove it home and then found that the bonnet would not open, I phoned them up and was told i wouldn't be able to take it back until Saturday, my dad then phoned and i was told to take it back immediatley. I dealt with the servicing manager Ian (who you would assume would look after customers to his best ability.... wrong!)
It then took until ...
