Temples of boom is a modern day classic. Have no doubt that this album has influenced a lot of rap since it's release in 1995. Six years old but in no way dated. The album cracks off with the anthems "spark another owl" and "throw your set in the air". Then mellows dramatically with the haunting lyrics of "illusions". Temples of boom is the third album from Cypress Hill. I bought it as I like the previous ones very much. You'll find that on this album, whilst the rapping style is similar to the previous two, the sound of the tracks is quite different. This time, producer muggs has opted for lots of dark, booming basslines, coupled with catchy melodic backing music, and the usual fat beats. One of my favourite tracks is 'boom biddy bye bye'.
