Advantages: Theres a lot more than just rides, not many people there so you dont queue for long! Disadvantages: the Biggest ride can be inactive for a few hours while the park gets busy and spanish kids have no manners so they just push in!
...What does it look like?
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
As you approach the Park the first things you notice are the 'Magnus Colossus'(a sort of run away train) and the large 'Terra Mitica' sign that is carved into the mountain behind the park.
The whole park looks great and new, as I think it's only been open around 1 year.
What is the layout like?
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Unlike some parks(like 'Alton Towers'(which is spaced out so it looks bigger)), 'Terra Mitica' has excellent layout so you aren't likely to miss anything out as it is set out so you sort of follow a trial taking you through everything. And the rides aren't just one after another, there'll be a ride, the a restaurant or show place, then maybe some sort of game area.
The park is set out in 5 sections.
1.Egypt
2.Greece
3.Iberia
4.The Islands

Advantages: A peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings - a place to be spoilt Disadvantages: none that I found
...Initially when I saw the position of this hotel/resort I was a little surprised and wondered if we were going to get any sleep. This was because the InkaTerra lodge hotel in Aguas Calientes is AT the station. In fact the rail line runs through the middle of the hotel. You have to check in at the Inka Grill on one side of the line then walk across the line to get to the rest of the hotel which consists of a series of lodges set in tropical vegetation climbing up the mountain behind.
While checking in you are offered a complimentary drink while they do most of the work associated with check-in we sat and sipped our tea. This building where we checked in was also where you could access the internet with a few computers available (free which was great) and also where we had our lunch the day we were leaving.
After we checked in...

Advantages: Excellent album, great variety of songs, really different for Juliette Lewis Disadvantages: A couple of bad songs...
...I first heard of Juliette Lewis' music career in 2004 when she stormed the music scene with her band The Licks. They released an EP (Like A Bolt of Lightning) and 2 albums (You're Speaking My Language and Four On The Floor). At the start of 2009, my heart was broken as the band decided to go their separate ways. Out of the ashes, rose Juliette Lewis and her new album; Terra Incognita.
The album is a long way away from her previous work with Juliette and The Licks, it's more grown up and you can certainly hear the influence of Omar Rodriguez Lopez (from The Mars Volta) who produced the album. Terra Incognita means 'unknown territory' in Latin and I think Juliette has ventured into it, but she's done it perfectly. I can't help but miss Juliette and The Licks, although there a few songs that are reminiscent of the good ol' days!
