The Oklahoma-based Funk, Soul and R&B group The GapBand (originally going by The Greenwood, Archer & Pinewood Street Band) formed back in the late sixties as brothers Charlie, Ronnie and Robert Wilson got down with their freaky dance tracks and ballads from then until the late eighties (although the seventies and eighties were when their peak came. There most well-known track was known as ?Oops Upside Your Head? and since then Charlie Wilson has been known for his solo career as well as features with big names in the Hip Hop world.

Up until recently l had not really bothered about Gap - l simply used the store in Belfast as a short cut into the CastleCourt shopping centre. One-day l decided ld stop and take a look.
The Belfast Store is extremely busy and crams a lot into a small space - women’s wear, men’s wear and junior sizes. A separate store exists for babies and toddlers. (I must emphasis that this is only the case in the Belfast Store - other stores have everything under one roof)
Clothes may seem expensive but l do not mind paying that little bit extra when it comes to quality. I find Gap clothes to have that edge over others. They wash well, keep their shape and endure well!
The style (for women anyway!) is mostly casual - with their hooded sweatshirts, jeans, tee shirts and baseball caps. I bought a pair of Gap jeans on Friday ...

Replay value will soon mean that the cost is irrelevant, you'll be too busy worrying about nailing the next guitar solo than the large gap in your bank balance! :) ...
