...favourite joint at the moment. Fat Joe is a massive producer within the USA, and has worked with many artists like Big Pun, Ja Rule and Jadakiss. On my first hearing of the album I was a little disappointed with it. I bought the album on the basis of my liking for 'Lean Back' and the other various work of Fat Joe in the past. ...'Capital Punishment', Big Puns debut album contains everything you would expect from a top rap album. Recruited by Fat Joe, under the Terror Squad, Pun definetly shows all his skills on this album. With guest appearances from Black Thought (super lyrical), Wyclef (caribbean connection) and Inspectah Deck (tres-leches), Pun is never short of backup. Not forgetting the cover of the classic Dre and Snoop track from deep cover, titled 'deep cover '98 '. This album shows all the sides of Big Pun, with RnB flows to more hardcore gangsta rap rhymes. ...that you will find that you will naturally skip through, 'gasolina' (daddy yankee) and lean back terror squad) feature here as a bid to boost sales so there are plenty of hits on the album. But the dizzee racal get low remix is suberb his unique voice is brilliant for the tune and complements the song beautifully. Summary- a good buy as it has lots of good tunes and hits, but i would like to hear more of lil jon and less of the 'rnb' slower tunes as it not crunk, but all in all a good album.... Read review

...this great album proves that big pun is the greatest rapper of all time. this 400 pound genius has put all his best songs on one album for us to enjoy. this album creates humour with skillful tongue twisting lyrics that will have your mind disgusted or you laughing until you wet yourself. the unique portariquin style voice flows with the funniest rap lyrics i have ever heard. the well known member of terror squad made a good decision going solo to make this long lasting funny yet amazingly skilled hip hop album the best of the 20th century. bernie....
