In my opinion , Linkin Park never ceases to amaze us. They broke into the spotlight with their hugely successful "Hybrid Theory" which was straightforward energy to be precise , it was a huge hit , commercially and was also welcomed by critics . their next two albums ie "Meteora" and "Minutes To Midnight" also became huge success . The most appreciated attribute of Linkin Park is their ability to create wonderful music in albums of different genre . Chester and co. have come a long way from being crazy early 20 dudes with green and pink locks of hair in Hybrid Theory .

That is evident with their single "the Catalyst". "The catalyst" comes from the album " A Thousand Suns" , it speaks of a fictional apocalypse (or not) and how hell would break lose in case of this event , it is a sort of a prayer evident from the lines "god bless us everyone , we're broken people living under loaded guns ."
