Advantages: some brilliant songs Disadvantages: that Cliff duet
...opinion). I can forgive a lot of things but a duet with Cliff "The Peter Pan of Pop" Richards is NOT one of them.
This however is a minor quibble. Overall this collection is a must have for your rack. It is great on nightd when you feel low and eqaully useful to shake the place up at parties. (Or so my brother said after I lent it to him!) The notes have all the lyrics to let you sing along with your hairbrush. Buy this today - it is the best £10 you will spend this year.
PS Be kind mickey, I'm just an amateur....

Good for clubbers. Review ofArabian Nights Vol.1 (Club & Chillout Classics) - Various Artistsby
mavimelek
Advantages: There are 2 CDs, each with a different ambience. Disadvantages: Not very traditional.
...When I bought this CD, I was expecting traditional sounds with a drum and bass backbeat possibly, as the thing that draws me to arabic music is the vocals, and the range of sounds that amazingly eminate from one persons mouth.

Advantages: Quirky and original, both witty and touching, Ben Folds Disadvantages: Not to everyone's taste, I'm told the other albums weren't so good so you might not be able to build up a great BF5 collection
...with drummer Darren Jess and bassist Robert Sledge, who lent his hand equally well to the double bass or the 4 stringed axe, you can see that you have something more than 3 guys who'd go around The Midlands, dressed in paisley suits singing the Spitting Image Chicken Song.

-- 1 angry dwarf and 100 solemn faces --
You might be fooled into thinking you'd bought the Best Cockney Rock Album ever Vol 2 (a la Bill Bailey), what with the jaunty piano and at times um-pah bass, but here you've got a blustery opener that's full of energy and one might say, va va voom … The almost pre-war feeling piano...
