Well where do I start? The first time I heard of The Fratellis was in my local collage from fellow students and the song was track 2 on the album 'Flathead' which was also featured in an ipod advert on TV. It is the first song in a long time to make me just want to get up and dance where ever I am so I got a friend to stick the song on my phone so I could listen to it where ever I want.
Personally I hear a song by somebody and then find out that it is just a one hit wonder and that the album is nowhere near as good as just a single. But this is a 100% album as well I love every song on there. My favourites are Henrietta, Flathead, Cuntry Boys and City Girls, Chelsea Dagger because they are the songs that are full of energy and everyone no matter your age can sing to, even my 4 year old brother can sing the song in places.
I think the best place I have heard the song is in the pub with my dad and uncle and Chelsea Dagger came on near closing time so everyone had a bit to much to drink and everyone started to sing the song and chant to it and the atmosphere to the song was out of this world and that sums up this album.
I have got to say that it is very hard not to listen to the album everyday and I fell into this and I listened none stop everyday sometimes twice a day for over 2 weeks and then I started to get bored of the songs which is very good going because normally I am listen to the same music a bit and I get board but this is different.
I have got to talk about the front cover because it is something I wouldn’t like. When you buy something it has to look good and I don’t think the cover is good but the music is just amazing.
To sum up this album to everyone if you want to listen to: Energetic Music Dance to and Sing along songs then this is the album for you.
But do be careful that you don’t listen to it to much because this is a great album and you really don’t want to ruin the experience

I like the cover as it is quite kitsch. I agree there are so any good songs on there but u am a bit bored of them as they are overplayed

Hey good review! I love this album. If u add a brief band history (biography thing) at the beginning, explain what genre they are and how much the cd is then u should get higher ratings. If u add anything let me know and I'll re-rate! x

Advantages: Catchy without being pop-ish, no bad songs, for a wide range of music tastes Disadvantages: If not in the mood for upbeat music, you really shouldn't listen to it
