Around 1.48 of the song you the get the piano, drums and bass making a catchy tune with Matthew briefly in the background then making a re-appearance around 3.11. This song has a medium beat to it of which is a brilliant song to start the album of with. 3. Time is running out: The beginning of this song is very catchy with a guitar playing the same notes and the sound of clicking of fingers with the drums and Matthew quickly entering into the song. Advantages: Some fantastic songs, yet another new style
Disadvantages: takes a bit to get going

...Chu I can't honestly say I'm a fan of this song. It appeared in the Desert Sessions double album Volume 9 & 10, but sounded better on that than on here. It's a bit too slow and whiny for my taste, but it's good if you're in a mellow mood. 8. 3's & 7's Another "single" track. Starts off with fast guitar riffs and heavy beats that last throughout, even in the semi-harmonic chorus. This song is full of energy, and possibly the best song on the album. 9. Suture Up Your Future Another relatively slow track, but for some reason I don't mind this one too much. I think its saving grace is a decent guitar and drum bit later in the track, which gives it that little bit of life. 10. River In The Road A fast beat combined with a slow(ish) vocal make this song stand out as one of the best on the album. It almost sounds like a marching band... Read review

Advantages: Tracks
Disadvantages: some too long and repetitive.

...raw sounding track. Is a nice song again with great lyrics and great beats. This raw sound contrasts with the rest of the album well. “I don't want no other distractions there's too much here to see, faint hearts or jaded reactions contraptions of history” A nice melody in the guitar part makes this song worthwhile. 8/10 The final track “”Folk Song” the rather mellow and echoed song is an eerie song which has a strange sounding synthed sound from something such as a keyboard going to extremes of volumes. A wind blow is evident in the background of this track and it is very relaxing in a way but the bursts of volume from the keyboard trying to add dynamics tend not to work very well as they tend to spoil the song too much.Another long track, this song can also go on too long.
