(The) Marvellous Aphorisms of Gavin Bryars

Advantages: listenable and enjoyable - faultless songs
Disadvantages: some songs can sound the same but they are good nonetheless

...Gavin Degraw is most famously known for singing the theme tune "I don't wanna be" for the hit-tv show One Tree Hill. This catchy number is highly addictive and has a great beat to it. Degraw is a fantastic talent and this album really reflects this. Each song is very listenable and you will be humming along to many of them for days on end. "Chariot" the title track is possibly my personal favourite but the words and the music of all the tracks make this album one not to be missed! Gavin Degraw live in concert was one of the best gigs I've been to (and I've been to a few) but this album almost doesn't reflect his amazing talent - try out his acoustic set album as this is more true to what he is capable of and if you get the chance to see him live don't miss it!!!!... ...(also on dooyoo) Advantages: great tracks Disadvantages: not as emo as previous albums i first heard my chemical romance when they played at t in the park, scotland last year and from then i have been hooked!.for those of you that dont know who they are my chemical romance(mcr for short) are an american rock band that got together in 2001 after sep 11. current members of the band are brothers gerard and mikey way ,Frank Iero, Ray Toro and Bob Bryar. the album has 13 tracks the most famous of which probably being track eleven *teenagers*-i love everything about this song from the lyrics to the video.quite a good bit in the video is when they sing *when ur troubled and hurt,what youve got under ur shirt will make you wish for the..*and the girls in the video bring out weapons. other tracks 1.the end-not particulary good 2.dead... ...Gavin Rossdale of bush (and the rest of his crew) really are great musicians and should be respected a lot. I know some people, say that he sounds very posh and some even go to the extreme of saying he sounds gay. But believe me, Bush show that he has a really great singing voice and that is a rare thing as far as English rock singers go! If you have not yet bought the albums Razorblade Suitcase or Sixteen Stone then go out and get them, they have my highest recommendations.... Read review
