Advantages: awe inspiring battle metal! Disadvantages: your neighbours will hate you!
...man i love this cd! discovered Dragonforce a couple months ago when Metal Hammer featured them on a Battle Metal cd. heard the song on that cd and ran out and bought this masterpiece. my viking blood has been singing along with them ever since! you have to hear it to believe it! and even then you may want to argue with your ears. this is just delicious - it TASTES of blood and iron if that makes any sense! the lyrics may not make a lot of sense some of the time but who cares! listen to the instruments - that is some SERIOUS skill!

Advantages: Every single track from beginning to end Disadvantages: play this when your drunk and there will be tears before bedtime
...As a big fan already of the Oxford band i waited with great excitment for the next installment of Radiohead catalogue, and i wasn`t left disappointed.
From the very first track (the brilliant Airbag ) to the last (The Tourist)you are taken through the minds of the band which turns out to be very topsy-turvy and just a little bit twisted but well worth the ride.
Although all of the tracks are excellent in thier own right , my favourites, the singles `Paranoid Android`,`Karma Police` and `No Surprises` all paled into comparrison with the brilliant and haunting `Lucky`.
There may be shouts going out that Coldplay may be the new Radiohead, but with this still selling by the bucketload and a new album out within the next twelve months the signs say the originals haven`t finished yet....

The Sound of Violence Review ofYou're A Woman I'm A Machine [ECD] - Death From Above 1979by
JonnyOpinion
Advantages: A noisy and exuberant album caffeine and cocaine for the ears and mind from just before last orders to forever after Disadvantages: It's far too short and while the songs are frolicing and dirty, they're largely forgettable
..."You're a woman, I'm a machine" displays proudly on the pink yet masculine background of its sleeve, two half man, half elephant faces who may or may not have nothing to do with the aural content. As regards that, the first thing that hits you about this album is how noisy is, rather like being ripped out of your seat into the midst an elephant graveyard at the wrong time of the month. The music is dirty and desperate, reminiscent of the evil twins of The Flaming Lips or the estranged half brothers of Kate Bush's love child with Billy Childish. Some of the messiest tracks are apparently live, though the audience's cheers becoming instantly inaudible as soon as the first snare is banged to oblivion. And what better way to end an album than with a track called "Sexy Results"? Exactly....
