Great music to listen to
Review of Albinoni's Adagios by organd

Advantages: Nice relaxing music
Disadvantages: Has not actually been made by Albinoni

...This music is considered to be good music for easy listening. It is as civilized as classical music, but it is made in modern times. When you need to relax, or you really enjoy easy listening music, then this album is an excellent choice. I enjoy easy listening music alot, and I do have this album. Every day, I listen to it. Although this album hasn't been made by Albinoni, I still say he had some part in it. Out of all the different kinds of music in the world, easy listening is one of the best, and this album of easy listening music is considered one the best albums. If you are into easy listening music, then consider buying Albinino. I sure did and I enjoy every minute of it. In fact, I listen to this album more than any other album I got. And you should too.... RACHMANINOV - RELAXING AND THOUGHT PROVOKING
Review of Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No. 2, etc by Puma1000

Advantages: Emotive, dramatic, sombre, (If that's your thing)
Disadvantages: The only disadvantages are if you don't like classical music or are not in the mood for over the top dramatical scores.

...Rachmaninov Quote - 'I feel like a ghost wandering in a world grown alien. I cannot cast out the old way of writing and I cannot acquire the new'. For those of you who are not avid listeners of classical music do not shy away from purchasing any of Rachmaninov's music as it provides an alternative mood for you to listen to in your personal music collections. ---Background Information--- FULL NAME: Sergei Rachmaninov NATIONALITY: Russian BORN: 1873 DIED: 1943 SPECIALIST MUSIC GENRES: Piano concertos, solo piano music Its also worth reading a bit more about his background as he had an interesting life. ---Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor--- Like much of Rachmaninov's music this piece is very deep and the mood of the song fluctuates alot. It is sad and uplifting at the same time and goes from slow quiet rhythms to louder and faster... Read review

The Ultimate Classical Box
Review of (The) Ultimate Classical Box by naughtyangel69

Advantages: Large variety of music
Disadvantages: none

...I bought this bos set of 5 CDs from Asda for £5, what a bargain. I'm not usually a classical music fan, but it is great as backbround music for the class of children I teach, plus provides lots of inspiration for Art and Drama. The set contains 5 CDs. The first is classical favourites, most people will know a few from this disk which has 16 tracks. The 2nd disk is Classical Chillout and is all music that is fairly slow, soft and relaxing. This also has 16 tracks. The 3rd disk is Opera favourites, 16 of them. The 4th has only 11 tracks of Romantic classics, and the 5th has 16 tracks again titled tracks from the movies. I was very surprised to see music such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings on this album! So there are a total of 75 tracks to listen to, which I have done all in a row so I cant say what the total... Read review
