This is a double cd collection and a very good one at that for any one who is a fan of acoustic music. The album seems to cover all of the obvious choices (wonderwall, stay, more than words) but also has some more interesting options like an acoustic version of ‘brass in pocket’ performed live by the pretenders and kirsty maccoll singing the kinks’ classic ‘days’. There are however some tunes which do not belong there – like richard marx ‘now and forever’ and jimmy nail’s ‘cowboy dreams’ – nevertheless it remains a good middle of the road cd.
