The Show is different to Girls Aloud's other songs. I think , perhaps at the time , they were experimenting with their sound , and at the time this was their 'new sound' from their previous singles such as 'Sound Of the underground' and 'No Good Advice'. The Show has a very catchy rhythm. It is a very cheery Summer song. I could imagine driving around in an open top sports car on the beach with this blasting out of the radio.
The lyrics in this song are slightly odd. Such as 'Should have hung around the kitchen in my underwear'. In a way the singing is over powered by the backing track . I would describe the vocals as slightly 'misty' as they don't sound that clear. Yes you can , understand the words they're singing but their vocals seem like they are in the background! Overall a good song from Girls Aloud , which is different to their usual sound!
Advantages: The most original pop song to ever hit the airwaves Disadvantages: None. Pure Magic.

Advantages: Some beautifully crafted pop ballads Disadvantages: Not enough variation of sound
Having beaten Will Young on ?World Idol?, and outperformed everyone during a guest appearance on ?Pop Idol 2?, Kelly Clarkson finally got to take on GirlsAloud, when they both had songs featured on the ?Love Actually? soundtrack. And lost. Sort of.
The way their songs were handled by the film company is a measure of the relative success of these talent show winners in their own countries. GirlsAloud?s ?Jump? was due to be the lead single in both the US and the UK. But whereas they?re popular enough here to reach No 2 with the song, a decision was made in the US not to release their song, and Kelly Clarkson got the nod instead. Conversely, GirlsAloud have stormed the UK charts whilst Clarkson has been largely unnoticed within the UK, her brief appearances on ?World Idol? and ?Pop Idol 2? apart. It?s strange, as artistes ...
Advantages: Great pop music Disadvantages: Rubbish covers
GirlsAloud were famously formed on reality tv show Popstars the Rivals and went on to beat one true voice to the christmas number one. Ever since then, however, they have shaken off their reality tv tag and become one of the most successful pop groups around, while still managing to be credible with a variety of audiences. They have had 13 top ten singles, a record that beats even the spice girls, and two number ones. This CD collects all of their singles together and adds new tracks as well!
GirlsAloud are:
Cheryl Tweedy-the most fancied member, mostly famous for firstly assault and then marrying ashley cole. If I sound negative then I dont mean to because Cheryl is probably my favourite out of the group!
Nadine Coyle-the best singer easily, with the longest legs ever. She's also going out with Jesse Metcalfe, so just about every ...
