the original blockbuster concert recording is less
about music and more about entertainment and the
power of musical personalities, you can appreciate
what you're hearing as an event--phenomenal and
bizarre, momentous and frivolous. This is an
occasion to celebrate the voices and egos of three
huge superstars and to have fun listening as
Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José
Carreras interact, bouncing lines off each other
and playing to the overwhelmingly enthusiastic
audience. Much of the fun and flavour of the
concert is dependent on seeing the action, though,
and without the visuals you notice flaws in the
singing much more. Domingo comes off as the more
solid performer and his voice is in far better
shape than the other two. But if you crave big,
high and loud--and you don't take your opera too

Advantages: All the hero's in one
Disadvantages: Mixed sound recordings Sound louder and quieter in places

...At first glance you would imagine the CD to be the normal mainstream nonsense with Russell Watson singing Amor ti Vieta, but when looking at the back you do see that this is a quality CD. So lights down low CD player on high and a nice Glass of wine and you are ready for an audio trip through operatic tenor modern history. Track List: (THERE ARE 27 TRACKS IF YOU WANT A SUMMARY OF EACH ONE THEN READ ON OTHERWISE HEAD FOR BOTTOM OF REVIEW) Track 1: O Paradis sung by Enrico Caruso What a start to the Cd. Nothing but quality technique and voice on show here, one of the best renditions you'll ever hear Track 2: Morgenlich leuchtend sung by Peter Anders Not my favourite song and a big jump in quality from the first track but still an adept singer, the first sign that there is going to be a wide variation of voice and style... The Three Blundering Musketeers!
Review of The Three Musketeers (Animated) (DVD) by  sewbizzie

Advantages: wonderful animation, great fun story
Disadvantages: None from my house

...the new King. He sets his helpers the task of Kidnapping her but things go wrong and Princess Minnie then goes to see him and demands that she is given Musketeer bodyguards. As the Captain want Princess Minnie kidnapped he decides that he will make Mickey, Donald and Goofy Musketeers and give them the job of protecting her as he believes that they are so useless he will still be able to go ahead with his plan. Mickey, Donald and Goofy are all so excited about becoming Musketeers and protecting the Queen but thing go horribly wrong for them when they are on duty and the Princess does get kidnapped. Will the new Musketeers be able to rescue the Princess and stop the Captain becoming the King? This was a lovely film which had me laughing out loud at some parts. Advantages: Excellent tracks and good covers
Disadvantages: some tracks not so great

...Even though I am not a major fan of Frank I have a huge liking for this album and thought I had to tell you about it. I only own this album as I mostly download my songs but as I was going to buy ?Love Ire and Song? but decided on this one instead which i was greatly impressed by. Who Is Frank Turner? I wouldn?t know why anyone wouldn?t have heard of him but for those who haven?t Frank Turner is a Folk song writer and singer who was a former vocalist for the punk band Million Dead. He was born in 1981 and has released several successful albums including the compilation album ?The First Three Years?. Frank became known when he joined Million Dead in 2001 and stayed with them for four years releasing two albums; after they spilt he decided to become solo and has done many shows around London.
